  • The National American Indian Heritage Month Luncheon is 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the Frontier Conference Center. No purchase is required to attend the event.
    Thanksgiving hours at the dining facility are 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 22. The dining room will not be open for breakfast, but the drive-through will be open 4:30-9 a.m. Grab-and-go hours will be 8-9:30 a.m. Holiday meals are $9.10 per person or $6.80 for spouses and dependents of service members E-4 and below.
    The Vietnam War Commemoration Lecture Series continues Nov. 27 with “The Vietnam War and the 1968 Presidential Election” with speaker Col. Pat Proctor. A reception starts at 6 p.m. with the presentation at 6:30 p.m. at the Stove Factory Ballroom, 417 S. 2nd Street, in Leavenworth. All lectures are free and open to the public.
    The Fort Leavenworth Holiday tree lighting event is from 4-7 p.m. Dec. 7 at Zais Park. The event features photo stations, carriage rides and more.
    The German Army families are hosting a GERMAN CHRISTMAS SERVICE at 6 p.m. Dec. 12 in Memorial Chapel.
