  • Munson Army Health Center will be closed Oct. 8 for Columbus Day.
    Munson Army Health Center’s Flu Campaign starts Oct. 9. Vaccines will be given from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 9-11, 15-18 and 22-23. Vaccines will be given from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 12 and 19. The last patient will be accepted at listed end time. Vaccines are currently available for ages 6-35 months and 9 years and above. Vaccines are currently not available for ages 36 months to 8 years. TRICARE network facilities have the vaccine for that age group. TRICARE will not cover a doctor’s visit for a flu vaccine.     Munson Army Health Center will have minimal staffing beginning at noon Oct. 10 because of mandatory training. The pharmacy will be closed from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
    Munson Army Health Center is relaunching the Wellness for Life program Oct. 24. Wellness for Life is a multidisciplinary program incorporating the Army Wellness Center, nutrition physical therapy, psychology, pharmacy, nursing and primary care providers. For more information, call 684-6523.
    Beginning Nov. 1, Munson Army Health Center will only be accepting money orders for services at the Uniform Business Office. Money orders can be purchased at Western Union in the Post Exchange or the post office. For more information, call 684-6048.
    Munson Army Health Center Immunizations and Allergy Clinic is on the first floor of the main facility in the new Readiness Center.
    The FIT FOR PERFORMANCE weight loss classes taught by a registered dietitian are 2:30-4 p.m. Tuesdays on the first floor of Munson Army Health Center. Soldiers, beneficiaries and Army civilians are eligible. Call 684-6250 to sign up.
    Sign up for tricare online at www.tricareonline.com to make or cancel appointments, check labs, and refill prescriptions.

    The Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center is seeking service members who served in the military after October 2001 to participate in a research study requested by Congress. Those currently enrolled or eligible for the TRICARE Retiree Dental Program or TRICARE Retired Reserve may qualify for Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) for 2019.     Munson Army Health Center Behavioral Health Clinic’s hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Walk-in hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday though Thursday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Behavioral Health is located in the Gentry Clinic building.
    The Executive Wellness Program physical therapist is now located in Munson Army Health Center’s physical therapy department. To make an appointment, call 684-6338.
    Munson Army Health Center does not have walk-in sick call for soldiers. Call the appointment line at 684-6250 for an appointment.
