    The Fort Leavenworth Non-Appropriated Fund Civilian Personnel Advisory Center is looking to fill many on-post NAF positions during the Career and Education Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 14 at the Frontier Conference Center.
    Available NAF positions include custodial workers, food and beverage attendants, animal caretakers, gymnastics instructors, recreation assistants, cashiers and checkers, cooks, laborers and custom picture framers. In addition, child and youth program assistants and lead child and youth program assistants are needed.
    Army NAF employment offers competitive salaries up to $17.18 per hour and a variety of careers. Regular status positions offer retirement, 401(k), comprehensive health and life insurance options, paid vacation and sick leave, and paid federal holidays.
    Applicants are encouraged to apply early at www.usajobs.gov; search keyword “NAF” and location of “Fort Leavenworth.” Applications can also be submitted in paper form and completed at the job fair. All applicants selected for available positions are subject to local and federal background investigations prior to employment. Some positions also require physicals.
    Those applying at the job fair should bring a hardcopy federal resumé with three professional references, a high school diploma/GED or college transcripts; Social Security card, a birth certificate/passport and a photo I.D. Applicants should also be wear appropriate interview attire and be prepared to interview at the event.
