  • The new shingles vaccine, Shingrix, is now available in the Immunizations and Allergy Clinic on a walk-in basis. Shingrix can be given to patients 50 years and older without a physician’s order, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends the vaccine even for patients who previously received the Zostavax vaccine.     The TRICARE Town Hall sponsored by Munson Army Health Center is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 12 at the Frontier Conference Center. A TRICARE representative will be available to answer questions regarding the challenges that Health Net Federal Services has experienced since the change in contractors Jan. 1. The event will also be broadcast via Facebook Live at https://www.facebook. com/munsonhealth/.

    The Munson Army Health Center Radiology Clinic is now open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.

    Soldiers can now be referred to Smith Dental Clinic for oral appliance therapy for obstructive sleep apnea or primary snoring. Call 684-5516 for more information.
    All CGSC students need to visit Smith Dental Clinic to check records and help reset dental readiness before in-processing. All National Guard and Reserve need to bring a DD 2813 or recent exam to be set up in the system. This will help decrease readiness e-mails and ensure that CGSC students stay deployable.
