Activities for children and teens

Youth ages 8-18 are invited to participate in the new EDGE! Curtain Call program. Youth will improve their acting skills and perform the musical, "Cinderella." Rehearsals are Wednesdays and Thursdays in March, April and May at the Post Theater. Call 684-1735 for more information.

CGSC events

Dr. Kenneth Ginsburg, a nationally recognized pediatrician, will address Intermediate Level Education Class 2010-01 from 1:30-2:45 p.m. today in the Lewis and Clark Center's Eisenhower Auditorium. Ginsburg will talk about starting a dialogue between parents and children of all ages to redefine perceptions of success.

Skate/mini golf park hours

Holes 'N Rolls miniature golf and skate park spring break hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through March 21. Starting March 22, the park is open 3:30-6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $1.50 for children 12 and younger, $2 for children 13-17, and $2.50 for 18 and older. For more information or to book a party, call 651-2942.

March madness games at 12th Brick

The 12th Brick Grille will be open to watch the NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES on big screen televisions. Games will be March 18-21, 25-28 and April 3 and 6. For more information call 684-2293.

Wreath ceremony at Col. Leavenworth's grave

The Kansas Society of the Sons of the American Revolution will lay a wreath at Col. Henry Leavenworth's grave at 3 p.m. March 20 in the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery. The event is part of the society's 118th State Conference. The public is welcome to attend.

Spring tour of homes

The 33rd annual Tour of Historic Homes is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 17. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the event, and are available at the Frontier Army Museum Gift Shop. Concessions and restrooms will be available at Zais Park. The tour is presented by the Friends of the Frontier Army Museum. Call 684-3193 for information.

Post-wide yard sale April 24

The Spring Post-wide Yard Sale is April 24, with sales beginning at 6 a.m. Yard sale permits are $8 and available at the Arts and Crafts Center and Leisure Travel Services. The Bell Hall parking lot will be used for all off post personnel and organizations selling items. The Hancock Avenue Gate will be open 6:15 a.m. to 10 p.m. April 24.
