Since opening in the summer of 2011, the Auto Craft Center has sought feedback from customers through the Interactive Customer Evaluation system.
The service provider has received 16 submissions since June and holds a satisfaction rating of 100 percent.
In every submission, customers ranked employee attitude 5.0 on a Likert scale with 1 being awful and 5 being excellent. Also ranked high were questions related to timeliness of service and facility appearance with rankings of 4.94 and 4.88 respectively.
One customer commented, “The service of the shop guys was way more than I ever expected for a self service type place. Kyle and Shawn went above and beyond to assist us with strut repair on our Honda Odyssey with providing some assistance where needed. They checked in with us several times throughout our repair to see if they could be of any assistance and even offered to help us find some tires that had failed. The service received was better than I have seen at off base shops in the community. I cannot say enough and give high enough praise for both Kyle and Shawn. I hope these comments find way back to both of these men as they deserve a pat on the back for a job well done. Thank you Kyle and Shawn.”
“I used the Auto Craft Shop for the first time this evening,” another customer wrote Nov. 28. “The facility is great and the help from Shawn and Josh was excellent. I have NO mechanical skills and they were able to talk me through/teach me to do my work. I saved money and learned at the same time. Thanks!”
“We strive for great customer service and it is evident through the ICE comments that we consistently achieve that goal,” said Joshua Stephens, Auto Craft Center manager.
The center is open from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday, and from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. All the products need to do a basic oil change can be purchased at the shop. Special order parts can be delivered from a local parts dealer. For more information, contact the shop by calling 684-3395.
ICE is a major component to providing individual feedback as part of the Customer Management Services program. ICE provides direct feedback about services received by individuals and promotes rapid interaction between service providers and the customer. ICE is accessible online through various Fort Leavenworth websites. Any customer can click on the ICE logo to be forwarded to the Fort Leavenworth ICE website. Customers can also visit https://ice.disa.mil. The ICE system is monitored daily to ensure customers requesting a response receive their response within three working days.
The CMS program at Fort Leavenworth is a three-tiered feedback system established to determine if the Garrison is adequately providing the needs of those who work, play and live on the installation.
