The Black History Month Extravaganza starts at 6 p.m. Feb. 4 at the Riverfront Community Center, 123 S. Esplanade St. in Leavenworth. The event will feature exhibits and displays depicting important contributions African-Americans have made throughout the nation’s history. There will be live entertainment and a dinner buffet.
