The Fort Leavenworth African-American/Black History Month celebration is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Frontier Conference Center, 350 Biddle Blvd. The cost of the luncheon is $10 and includes the guest speaker Dr. Bernadette Gray-Little, the first woman and first African-American chancellor of the University of Kansas. Individuals may attend the event without purchasing a meal ticket.
