The Fort Leavenworth Tax Assistance Center is open on the third floor of the Resiliency Center, 600 Thomas Ave. Weekday hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with special hours 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on three Saturdays: Jan. 28, Feb. 4 and Feb. 11. The tax center offers free preparation of federal and state tax returns for Soldiers, family members and retirees. Customers can park in designated spots in front of the Resiliency Center.
