The Exceptional Family Member Program is sponsoring the Special Olympics Young Athletes Program from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at Hancock Pool. This program opens the door for children with special needs to participate in sports while welcoming families to the Special Olympics support network. This month’s focus is on swimming and water safety. Participants can bring a dish to share at the pot-luck lunch. Glass containers are not allowed at the pool.
